Places to Eat

We have a few local choices for eating which we recommend, listed below by closeness to the site:

Manor Farm Pub:  on site 100m from the yurts

A carvery open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very low cost and fills you up. Some where dry where you can warm up and have a few beer without having to worry how you will get home.

Donellys Fish and Chips:  0.6miles along the Bromwich Road

A great local chippy. Huge portions and good value. Open until 21:30

Cromwells Tandoori: 0.8miles along the busy Malvern road (or a more scenic route along the river)

A local Indian restaurant with good reviews

Red Lion Powick:  1.1miles along the busy Malvern road (or a more scenic route along the river)

A local pub, which do excellent pub food.  Very reasonably priced and all cooked fresh on site. Currently doing 3 courses for £12 which seems far too cheap for the quality of the food. The have a pool table and do poker nights, gigs, pub quiz’s etc.

Alternatively there are a wealth of bars and restaurants in Worcester city centre. This ranges from a 24hr Mac Donalds to classy restaurants.  These are a 20-30 minute walk away along the river, or you can take the No. 44 bus from outside the Manor Farm pub or a taxi should be between £5-10 depending on the time.  For those looking for a bit more of a lively evening The Shambles is a street with lots of pubs and bars and is the best bet to start with.
