If you’re planning a glamping getaway in Worcestershire this June, you’re in for a treat. With longer days, beautiful countryside, and a calendar full of events, summer is the perfect time to explore everything this scenic county has to offer.

Whether you’re staying with us at Worcester Glamping or just visiting the area, here are five of the best things to do in Worcestershire in June:

1. Riverside Walk & Worcester Cathedral Visit

Start your June adventure with a peaceful stroll along the River Severn, just minutes from Worcester Glamping. The beautiful riverside path leads you right into the heart of Worcester city, where you can explore the historic Worcester Cathedral — a stunning 11th-century landmark with incredible views from the tower. Don’t forget to top at one of the Diglis Hotel or the Anchor Inn to enjoy lunch & a beer in their gardens.

2. Upton Jazz Festival

One of Worcestershire’s most iconic summer events, the Upton Jazz Festival is a must for music lovers at the end of June. Held in the charming riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn, just a 15 minute drive away from us here at Worcester Glamping, this lively festival brings the streets to life with jazz, blues, and swing — plus plenty of food stalls, local ales, and riverside vibes. 3. Explore the Malvern Hills

For outdoor lovers, a trip to the Malvern Hills is a must. Just a short drive from Worcester Glamping, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is ideal for walking, picnicking, and catching panoramic views over Worcestershire and Herefordshire. June is a fantastic time to visit, with wildflowers in bloom and warm, clear weather. We highly recommend lunch at The Malvern Hills Hotel – great food and service from a fab family team.

4. Royal Three Counties Show

One of the highlights of June in Worcestershire, and of the whole summer for us as a farming family, is the Royal Three Counties Show, returning to the Three Counties Showground in Malvern from 13–15 June 2025. This award-winning event is the UK’s premier agricultural and countryside living show, featuring over 8,000 animals across the weekend. It is a great family event with so many fantatsic things to see to celebrate the British farming industry. My favourute is always the Heavy Horse display, and some years they have even had the Red Arrows land in the main arena!

5. Witley Court& Gardens

Step back in time with a visit to the ruins of Witley Court, a grand Victorian mansion surrounded by stunning gardens, fountains, and woodlands. Run by English Heritage, Witley Court is perfect for a leisurely day trip. In June, the gardens are in full bloom — ideal for a peaceful picnic or a romantic stroll, and a short drive away just the other side of Worcester from Worcester Glamping.
